Automatically Collect
IP Address:
We record IP addresses in the aggregate for
monitoring the level of activity on our site. We
do not link this to your financial information.
We may also use your IP address to help diagnose
problems with our server, and to administer our
website.
Browser Information:
The Nation tracks user traffic patterns throughout
all of our sites. However, we do not correlate
this information with data about individual
users. The Nation does break down overall usage
statistics according to a user's domain name,
browser type, and MIME type by reading this
information from the browser string (information
contained in every user's browser).
The Nation sometimes tracks and
catalogs the search terms that users enter in
our search engines, but this tracking is not
associated with individual users.
Information You
Explicitly Provide
via Order or Donation Form:
To process your order requests, we generally
require your name, billing address, phone
number, email address, and shipping address.
Credit card information is collected by a third
party financial institution such as PayPal
through our interface. We do not collect your
financial information on our servers and only
use professional transaction providers for the
highest security possible as a service to you.
Information collected on our website is to
confirm payment and to process your order or
donation and,
if any questions should arise, to contact you
about your order or donation. In general, we will try to
contact you first by email and only if that
fails, or if time is critical, will we try to
contact you by phone. We share this information,
and only that information which is absolutely
necessary, with those third parties that are
involved in the processing of your order. For
example, the financial institutions that issued
your credit card and who provide web services to us
and the shipping carrier that delivers your
order.

and email address and will only use that
information to send you a reply.

Our online surveys ask visitors for contact
information. The customer's contact information
is used to contact the visitor when necessary.

The Nation shares all downloadable files and considers
all published information in the public domain.
Under the freedom of speech we will publish
known truths and pledge to uphold its accuracy.
